Sonic Summary

The CNC Programmer position is located in Scunthorpe and requires proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
Candidates should have experience with Fanuc or hydraulic programming and a strong knowledge of machining techniques.
The salary for this role is £19.50 per hour, equating to £40,560.00 per year, with overtime paid at time and a half, increasing to time and three-quarters after 9 hours.
The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6 am to 4 pm, with Fridays off and additional benefits including a pension scheme and 28 days of annual leave.
An apprenticeship in CNC machining is preferred but not essential for applicants.

As a CNC Programmer, you will be required to:

Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and grinding.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for machining operations.
Monitor machine operations to quality standards
Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure performance.
Troubleshoot issues with machines, tools, and programs.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve productivity.

Experience / Skillset required for this role

Proven experience as a CNC machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Fanuc and hydraulic programming experience
Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tools and materials.
Apprenticeship training in CNC machining is preferred but not essential.
