Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be working for a fantastic business in Scunthorpe as they look to recruit a Credit Controller on a Fixed Term Contract.
You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's credit policies, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and reducing credit risk while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage and chase outstanding debts to ensure timely payments
- Maintain accurate records of credit control activities and customer interactions
- Assess customer creditworthiness and set appropriate credit limits
- Handle queries and disputes efficiently, ensuring resolution in a professional manne
- Prepare reports on debtor balances and escalate issues as necessary
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve credit control processes
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software is an advantage
