We are recruiting a Customer Service Apprentice for a client in Scunthorpe.
The role is working Monday – Friday, 32.5 hours a week.
You will be studying towards a level 2 Customer Service qualification and the course is expected to last up to 15 months including the end point assessment.
The role offers a salary of £6.40 therefore offers the opportunity to earn whilst you learn. The wage will increase to NMW following the initial 12 months for aged 19 or over.
Job Overview:
The Customer Service apprentice will play a crucial role in supporting the customer services team. The successful candidate will handle existing customer relations and potential new customer enquiries, requiring effective communication and problem-solving skills to coordinate resolutions with both customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Action email/phone enquiries
- Answer intercom at front barrier
- Sales order processing & invoicing
- Booking transport
- Action credit notes
- Update daily sales spreadsheets
- Updating OTIF reports
- Document scanning/filing
- Purchase order processing
- Updating orderbooks
- Despatching sample requests
- Producing stock reports
- Allocating customer payments
- Banking/Petty cash
- Ordering stationary
- Checking and distributing incoming post
