Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pastoral/Behaviour Support Assistant to join a School school in Scunthorpe. As a Pastoral/Behaviour Support Assistant, you will provide support to students, monitor behaviour, and work closely with teachers to ensure students receive the necessary support to excel academically.

Responsibilities:

Offering support to students with their studies, including one-to-one or small group sessions.

Monitoring behaviour, identifying and addressing patterns of poor behaviour.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Providing guidance and support to students, ensuring their welfare is protected.

Contributing to the development of school policies and strategies.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a teaching assistant, learning support, or counselling.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

The ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.

A caring and nurturing personality.

A strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.

A valid DBS check.
