We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing educational environment in Scunthorpe. This role involves working 1:1 with a student, providing tailored support and contributing positively to their educational experience.
Day-to-day of the role:- Provide one-on-one assistance to a designated student, ensuring they receive the individualised support they need.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement educational plans that cater to the student’s specific needs.
- Assist in the development of social skills and encourage a positive learning environment.
- Monitor and report on the student’s progress to teachers and parents.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of the student.
- Participate in training and development sessions to improve professional skills and educational knowledge.
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, understanding, and the ability to motivate students.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to the personal and educational development of students.
- Enhanced DBS check will be required
