We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant specialising in behaviour management to join our vibrant educational team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting students' educational journeys and upholding the school's ethos of respect, integrity, and commitment to excellence.
Day-to-day of the role:- Work closely with students who require behavioural support, implementing strategies to promote positive behaviour.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create behaviour plans that align with our school's values.
- Monitor and report on the progress of students, adapting strategies as needed to ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Support the classroom teacher with general educational activities when required.
- Engage with students to foster a supportive and understanding relationship, encouraging their social and academic growth.
- Participate in training and development sessions to stay updated with the latest educational and behavioural management practices.
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies that encourage positive learning environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- A proactive and compassionate approach to student development.
- Relevant qualifications in education or behavioural studies are advantageous.
