Electrical Maintenance Technician

Up to £42,000 + Van + Tools

Scunthorpe + Surrounding areas

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an experienced, Electrically bias Maintenance Technician to work across a number of Anaerobic Digestion plants near Scunthorpe and the surrounding areas.

Our client is a leading business within the Renewable Energy sector and are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team.

As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out fault finding and repairs on Electrical and Mechanical plant such as: Pumps, motors, compressors, and PLCs
  • Travelling to various sites across your designated patch
  • Responding to breakdowns and carrying out fault finding on Anaerobic Digestion sites
  • Planning and implementation of planned preventative maintenance to ensure full plant efficiency
  • Supervision of third-party contractors on site
  • Ensuring out of hour call outs are responded to in a timely manner
  • Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

  • Relevant electrical/multiskilled engineering qualification (NVQ/HNC/BTEC/Apprenticeship)
  • Previous experience within a Process Environment such as water treatment, food processing plant, chemical plant etc
  • The ability to work an out of hours callout rota
  • A full UK driving licence is essential for this role
