Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the accurate and timely processing of monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly payroll for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and company policies.
- Prepare and submit statutory filings such as tax returns, pension contributions, and end-of-year reports.
- Maintain and optimise payroll systems and software.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide guidance to employees regarding payslips, tax codes, or deductions.
- Support the payroll team, ensuring high standards of accuracy and performance.
- Train and develop team members to stay updated on industry practices and regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.
