AD Plant Operator

(Full time - 4 on 4 off shift pattern - Days)

Crowle, North Lincolnshire

We are currently recruiting a practical, hands-on, self-motivated, and energetic individual to join our team of Operators.

A full training programme will be offered to the successful candidate.

Experience of working within an on-call rota is desirable but not essential.

Personnel requirements:

  • Be keen to learn and show enthusiasm.
  • Have a commitment to achieve high standards of work at all times.
  • Have experience of carrying out maintenance tasks.
  • Have a high standard of housekeeping practices.
  • Have a practical and hands-on approach to work.
  • Be able to work alone, using your own initiative and as part of a small team.
  • Hold a full driving license.
  • Be competent in using IT and Excel.

Operator responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team to achieve monthly production targets.
  • Work in both proactive and reactive manners to suit the needs of the team and the plant.
  • Complete a training programme to enhance both plant and anaerobic digestion knowledge.
  • Complete in-house training for Health & Safety requirements.
  • Complete vehicle training (Tractor, Telehandler etc.)
  • Be available for call outs and support.
  • Day to day operations of the plant.
  • Feeding the plant to a set feed plan using on site telehandler.
  • Carry out daily checks.
  • Have thorough attention to detail skills and be observant to any changes within the plant’s performance.
  • Carry out analysis checks and work with our biologist.
  • Complete general maintenance tasks.
  • Complete daily housekeeping tasks.
  • Monitoring SCADA control systems.
  • Making changes to our SCADA system to accommodate the needs of the plant.
  • Help to meet compliance guidelines.
  • Provide support to the Plant Manager across all aspects of the Anaerobic Digestion plant.

Starting salary will vary depending on experience of Anaerobic Digestion between £28,000-£35,000.
