Our client is looking for an experienced Production Trainer to join us on our mission of
preserving food and the planet by offering high quality, eco-friendly products and taking
advantage of the virtuous recycling loop.
Role and responsibilities:
* Promote learning and development of the team, across different departments
* Delivery of onsite inductions to new starters and contractors
* Support in the development of SOP's across the site by engaging with department leads
* Delivery of all SOP's to all departments
* Continuous review of the quality of training, following up with department leads where
required to update training appropriately
* Delivery of bespoke training sessions
* Maintaining and updating systems to ensure the training matrix is audit ready at any given
moment
* Conducting regular training audits
* Organise external training courses through local providers and colleges
* Train to be a SAP super user to support with SAP roll out across the business
* Support the quality department in various QA tasks as and when required
Qualifications and skills:
* SAP experience desirable but not essential
* Train the trainer certified
* Strong background in adapting teaching styles to suit the trainee
* Excellent IT skills
* Strong organisational skills, ability to manage own workload and prioritise effectively
* Willingness to gain in depth knowledge across all departments in the business to be able
to provide continuous support for new starters and existing employees alike
Hours of work
3 week rotating pattern 6am-2pm 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am. Weekend overtime as and when required.
