As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with teachers and students, providing essential classroom support, assisting with learning activities, and helping to create a positive and engaging educational experience for primary-aged children.

Key Responsibilities of Teaching Assistant (TA):

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
• Work with individual students or small groups to provide targeted support.
• Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Help with lesson preparation, resources, and activities.
• Encourage and support students' social, emotional, and academic development.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued.

Requirements of Teaching Assistant (TA):

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant.
• A passion for education and supporting young learners.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive approach to learning.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
