Stafforce are looking for Team Leader, offering immediate starts for our client in Scunthorpe, Billet Lane, DN15.

Our client is Sofina Foods, one of the UK's leading pork processors, an employer of choice with ongoing staff requirements and competitive rates of pay, including overtime.

We are currently recruiting for evening shift with immediate starts and paid training.

Team Leader shift patterns available:

FULL TIME:

  • C -SHIFT Monday to Friday 6pm to midnight £14.53p/h

The Role

  • Ensure an efficient production line operation which is able to fulfill operational and customer demand
  • Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated tasks
  • Enforce all safety and quality processing procedures
  • Understand customer needs and ensure alignment with the needs/commitments of the business.
  • Evaluate new employees and coach existing employees
  • Handling of raw sliced bacon, respecting specifications for each customer
  • General production duties
  • General hygiene duties (clean as you go).
  • Stacking and palleting boxes and servicing the line with ingredients and packaging, in line with relevant SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and product specifications.
  • Working within Good Manufacturing Practices - i.e.; safely, hygienically and through correct quality procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company policies

Skills and experience required

  • Ability to build, lead and motivate a skilled team able to meet objectives and agreed targets
  • Ability to optimise team performance and development
  • Inter-personal and communication skills coupled with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels within the business

  • Excellent attention to detail skills
