Role Overview:As an Experienced Stores operative, you will be responsible for managing stockroom operations, ensuring inventory levels meet production requirements while minimizing excess stock. This role offers a dynamic environment with plenty of room to make it your own.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day store operations, ensuring efficient and effective logistics.
  • Continually assess and improve stock management processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement stock control systems to maintain accuracy and minimize waste.
  • Oversee storage areas, ensuring compliance with procedural and safety regulations.
  • Ensure all storage areas are clean and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Work closely with the Insite Manager and clients to forecast, plan, and replenish inventory as needed.

Main Tasks and Deliverables:

  • Organise and update office inventory.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as managing budgets, bookkeeping, and record-keeping.
  • Control inventory and develop and implement agreed stores management services.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes.
  • Consistently deliver on agreed specific KPIs and targets.
  • Ensure a clear understanding of stores management processes.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and manage stock in line with specific requirements.

Person Specification:

  • Customer service-oriented with knowledge of business practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in office software packages (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Well-organised, excellent multitasker with strong time management skills.
