Hours Monday - Thursday 8 am - 4.30 pm, Friday 8 am - 3.30 pm

plus approx. 6 hours overtime per week at time and a quarter.

Salary £27,300 - £32,175 negotiable paid weekly plus Overtime pay

25 days holiday + bank holidays, private cash/health plan

Paint Sprayer Manager required for very established manufacturing firm, commercial joinery the role is to maximise the throughput through the spray shop whilst maintaining the highest levels of quality, health and safety. To work as part of the production management team to continuously improve all operations, competence, processes, and procedures. To work closely with other departments to ensure effective and constructive communication.

Previous experience with timber productions would be beneficial but not essential, training would be provided

Pain Sprayer Shop Manager

Manager - Managing prep team (2 staff and sanding machine) and 2 spray booths, 4 sprayers

  • Order Review working closely with Factory Scheduler
  • Ensure the highest levels of quality throughout, rejecting poor quality when necessary
  • Training employees to diversify skills in department
  • Training new employees in the spray shop
  • Plan / organise spray shop workload in advance for each week
  • Increase efficiency of department
  • Corrective/Preventive action - work with all departments to prevent wasted/down time
  • Ensure maintenance is carried out correctly and on time, ensuring they are clean and safe
  • Ensure Health and Safety practices are observed
  • Spray shop and paint stores to be maintained in line with permits, ensuring correct stock levels, using old stock before new and out of date stock is disposed of correctly.
  • Any other reasonable duties that might be needed from time to time to assist the company in attaining its business objectives
