We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Quality Manager to lead the Lab and Process team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimising production processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. As a key member of the team, you will guide and support the development of your team while ensuring that operations meet the highest quality and safety standards.Duties & Responsibilities: 

    • Ensure a competent, engaged, and empowered workforce capable of meeting current and future needs.
    • Oversee the implementation and monitoring of procedures and guidelines in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Operations System, HSEQ Management System.
    • Ensure that local, regional, and corporate regulations and quality standards are adhered to in all activities.
    • Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards within the lab and production areas
    • Actively promote a culture of safety and compliance within the team.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing the Operations System and tracking progress against KPIs.
    • Identify opportunities for process optimisation and implement changes as required.
    • Collaborate with operations managers to advise on equipment and setup recommendations
    • Provide technical support for process optimisation, product formulations, and troubleshooting.
    • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for team members and operators.
    • Ensure sustainable production processes through effective knowledge transfer and skills development.
    • Investigate and resolve product complaints and quality deviations.
    • Establish and maintain analytical methods and control routines for ongoing quality assurance.
    • Ensure the laboratory, equipment, and personnel meet required standards for operation.
    • Manage equipment selection processes and oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and skills:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or similar) is preferable.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in quality control, process optimisation, and complaint management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and HSEQ management systems.
