A brand new role has just become available for a Maintenance Engineer with a Mechanical Bias to join market leading industrial manufacturing business at their large manufacturing plant in the Scunthorpe. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking business that invests money into the training and futures of their maintenance engineers. The successful maintenance engineer will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of large scale machinery across the whole plant and therefore will get the chance to really develop their skills across electrical and mechanical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of machinery within waste management and recycling facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings to management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer.
  • Experience in either manufacturing or the Armed Forces.
  • Proven expertise in preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
