Job Opportunity: Area Manager

Location: North Lincolnshire
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Shifts: Mon–Fri (Fixed Nights: 10pm–6.00am OR Rotating Shifts: 6am–2.00pm & 2pm–10.00pm, with some flexibility)

The Role

As an Area Manager, you’ll take ownership of leading and developing your team to ensure excellence in health and safety, food safety, quality, cost, and operational efficiency. Working closely with key departments, you’ll champion best practices and foster a culture of improvement and collaboration.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading, motivating, and coaching your team to achieve top performance.
  • Promoting a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance across the board.
  • Maintaining audit-ready standards and ensuring high-quality outputs that meet BRC requirements.
  • Managing recruitment processes, absence, and performance in line with company policies.
  • Maximising yield, minimising waste, and driving efficiency improvements.
  • Overseeing new product trials and launches, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Escalating critical issues and communicating effectively across departments.

What You’ll Bring

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience managing production teams in a fast-paced environment, ideally within FMCG.
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach and a commitment to getting the job done.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in IT systems and confident with numbers and written communication.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in manufacturing/FMCG
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
