Food Quality, Technical Manager (Operations Experience)Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire-Commutable from Grimsby, Hull, Doncaster£55k+ Negotiable Dependant on Experience, Plus benefits8-5 Mon-Fri, Time off in lieu if working additional hours (EG audits)Are you a food industry professional with experience as a Technical Manager or Quality Manager level, looking more an exciting, varied and challenging senior level role with developments into a Factory Manger or General Manager position for a multi site food manufacturing group?The role offers the chance to make a real difference to the site and get involved in implementing the strategic direction of the site and a step up to a GM position while having a large input in to the Technical Management. It may suit someone as a Quality Manager or Technical Manager level at a larger site who wants to step up into a more senior on a smaller site as a GM which has some operations experience.This is also an exciting time to join to the site adds a new production line and signs a new contract with a major client.The role will also lead the sites technical and food safety agenda.The Role1. Full time permanent senior food manufacturing role based on site in Scunthorpe with occasional travel2. Site management of a small team focusing on quality, hygiene, and technical3. Responsible for the food quality and food safety on site including customer audits and maintaining BRCGSThe Person

1. Working background at a senior level in the food sector, ideally within fresh produce
2. Previous management experience of a technical and/or quality team
3. Any Operations Management or Factory Manager experience within food, alongside Technical Management
4. Level 3 HACCP and level 4 food safety
5. Internal Audit experience
