Project Engineer - 12-Month FTC
Location: Scunthorpe, UK
Salary: Up to 45k
Travel: UK & EU (around 40%)
We're looking for a Project Engineer to join a leading food manufacturing business on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Based in Scunthorpe, you'll take the lead on delivering key engineering projects across multiple UK sites. This role is ideal for someone who's hands-on, well-organised, and able to manage projects from start to finish. If you enjoy problem-solving, working with different teams, and making a real impact, this could be the role for you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing engineering projects from planning to execution
- Working with stakeholders to keep projects on track
- Producing layout and general arrangement drawings using AutoCAD (3D skills required)
- Ensuring projects comply with industry regulations
- Travelling to UK and European sites (up to 40% of the time)
What We're Looking For
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Previous experience in the food industry is a bonus
- Full UK driving licence - essential
The Details
- Monday to Friday, generally 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, but flexibility is required around production shifts
- 12-month FTC, salary up to 45k
- Regular travel across UK & European sites
