Our well-established, Scunthorpe-based client is looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join their friendly, family-run business.

Your day will start at their Scunthorpe office and duties will include:

Preparation and testing of machine equipment to customers specification, ready for installation.

Assisting with installation of equipment at customers sites

Engineering field service work on equipment at customers premises.

Problem solving and analysis of faults to achieve solutions and first-time fix for customers.

Liaising with the Senior Engineer to ensure equipment remains in good working order.

Stocktaking and ordering of vehicle supplies.

Assist other departments as the company requires.

Requirements

Previous Electrical or Mechanical knowledge

Organised with a logical approach to problem solving.

Have the facility to communicate effectively and politely to customers and colleagues.

The ability to complete all relevant paperwork accurately.

A capability to work alone or as part of a team.

Must hold a full UK driver licence.

Happy to work occasional overtime as required.

Hours of work Mon- Fri 08.00- 17.00 (one-hour unpaid lunch break)

£28,000pa - £30,000pa paid weekly subject to experience.
