We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic educational setting in Scunthorpe. This role is ideal for someone who is strong in behaviour management and is looking for an immediate start, continuing until the end of the academic year.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring that pre-set work is completed.
  • Maintain a focused and respectful classroom environment, managing behaviour effectively and ensuring student engagement.
  • Liaise with teachers to ensure smooth transitions and effective communication regarding student progress and any incidents.
  • Assist in preparing learning materials as directed by teaching staff.
  • Support students during class activities and provide feedback to teachers on work completed.
  • Enforce school policies and rules to maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong classroom management and behavioural management skills.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and needs within the classroom.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and committed approach to student development.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
