Reed Education are currently seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join a one-form entry school in Scunthorpe from September 2024 for thr Autumn term as a minimum. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing a Key Stage 2 class. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and is looking for a rewarding teaching opportunity.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, teach, and assess a Key Stage 2 class, ensuring that all children are engaged and making progress.

  • Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that cater to the needs of all students.

  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.

  • Create a positive learning environment that promotes good behaviour and a strong classroom culture.

  • Attend training sessions, parents’ evenings, and other school events as required.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school community.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Experience in teaching Key Stage 2 is highly desirable.

  • Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks.

  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.

  • Commitment to professional development and a willingness to attend training and events.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
