About the role

The desired Primary Teacher will be confident with delivery and planning of the Key Stage 2 curriculum The school are looking for an engaging and creative teacher who is passionate about education and wants to embark on a journey of excellence in the heart of Scunthorpe. The right candidate will be an experienced KS2 teacher, with strong classroom management and a kind and patient character. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and have strong behaviour management.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Year 5 & 6 Teacher you will:

  • Have experience teaching Upper Key Stage Two (KS2)
  • Have a genuine passion for education and learning
  • Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service.
  • Have knowledge of behaviour management strategies and the ability to implement them consistently to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Familiarity with and commitment to the teaching standards and professional code of conduct.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to work in different classrooms or with different students as required. Demonstrate the ability to adjust teaching approaches and strategies to meet individual student needs.
  • Be confident in delivering lessons to 30 students.
