Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to facilitate all levels of learners.
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to achieve their potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate school values and ethos into daily teaching practices.
- Participate in departmental meetings, contributing to the development of the curriculum and sharing best practices.
- Engage with parents and guardians to support student learning and development outside of the classroom.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English or related subject.
- Experience teaching English at secondary school level.
- Strong understanding of the UK curriculum for English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
