We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team at a well-respected academy in Scunthorpe. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about mathematics and delivering high-quality education to students.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative maths lessons that meet curriculum standards.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to ensure academic development.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation in mathematics.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to develop new teaching strategies and educational materials.
- Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the vibrant academic community.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in mathematics.
- Experience in teaching maths at secondary school level.
- Strong understanding of the mathematics curriculum and current teaching methods.
