Are you passionate about supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Are you looking for a role that offers flexibility while allowing you to make a real difference? GSL Education is currently seeking a full-time Behaviour Support Assistant to work within primary and secondary settings in Scunthorpe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the school's objectives and develop a comprehensive understanding of their work, aligned with their ethos and aims.
    • Assist children in participating in various activity groups for those with special educational needs, primarily focusing on Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH).
    • Contribute to the implementation of 1:1 behavioural intervention programmes for children with Autism, developmental delays, or other Special Educational Needs (SEN).
    • Observe, engage with, and document student behaviour.
    • Follow lesson plans and support activities as directed.
    • Maintain a high standard of educational support at all times.
    • Act with professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

Candidates must have a clean Child Only DBS that is registered to the Update Service, or the willingness to apply for one through GSL Education, and have relevant experience.
