Our client are a highly regarded Builders Merchant providing a mixture of building supplies to both trade and retail customers.
Due to an internal move an exciting opportunity has arisen within their Scunthorpe branch for a Trade Counter Assistant to join their busy sales team.
This will mostly be reactive face-to-face selling across the trade counter, however you may also be asked to do some telephone sales alongside your trade counter work when things are quiet.
An ability to cross basket sell, up-sell and maintain margin will all be essential to being successful within the role. Additionally, an excellent knowledge of building materials and their current prices will also be required.
This job would suit someone who has already got experience working within a Builders Merchants and knows the products.
