In this role, you will play a crucial part in the continued success of a growing company and will be responsible organising transportation routes for the timely delivery of goods, as well as monitoring costs and work towards cost optimization.
This role would suit someone with either proven experience in a similar role, or someone who is looking to take their first steps in Transport Planning.
The Role
- Organise transportation routes
- Monitor costs and look at cost saving measures
- Manage inventory
- Coordinate delivery between suppliers, customers, and drivers
- Shifts are 0600-1500 and 1000-1800 on alternating weeks, as well as every other Saturday morning
The Person
- Either experience in a similar role OR looking to get into transport planning
- Proficient in office software
- Local to Scunthorpe
