Job Title: Hair and Beauty Lecturer (Temporary)
Location: Scunthorpe
Pay Rate: £25 to £35 per hour
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Role Overview: North Lyndsay College is seeking a dedicated and passionate Hair and Beauty Lecturer to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will primarily teach Level 3 courses and will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Hair and Beauty, primarily at Level 3.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
- Support students in achieving their educational goals and career aspirations.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Hold a relevant Beauty profession-related degree or equivalent qualification.
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards one.
- Hold an Assessors Award.
- Minimum Level 2 Maths and English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
