Stafforce are looking for Order Pickers, offering immediate starts for our client in Scunthorpe, Billet Lane, DN15.

We can offer various shifts with immediate starts and paid training.

Order picker shift patterns available:

FULL TIME:

  • 4on / 4 off (11:00 - 23:00) PAYRATE £11.83 p/h
  • 4on / 4 off (19:00 - 07:00) PAYRATE £11.83 p/h

OVERTIME AVAILABLE

The Role

To perform daily duties as part of the Warehouse Team whilst working in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, food safety legislation and quality standards specified by our customers. These duties will be varied from operating MHEs, de-racking, racking, picking, palletisation, loading as well as general housekeeping duties these may vary at times due to volumes and a requirement to work across departments may be needed.

  • Picking orders - daily sheets distributed by the Team Leader
  • Store any intake of product away onto the correct racking in accordance to stock rotation procedures and product shelf life specifications making sure that the correct scanning takes place in order to allow full traceability to take place.
  • Load finished products onto vehicles as instructed
  • Complete all relevant paperwork such as temperature records as instructed and or required, accurately and within time specifications and store / deliver to the correct personnel.
  • General hygiene duties (clean as you go).
  • De-racking, racking, loading, operating MHEs
  • Working within Good Manufacturing Practices - i.e.; safely, hygienically and through correct quality procedures.

To be an Order Picker you will need to be:

  • Order picker experience is preffered
  • Ability to work in a cold environment (all relevant PPE provided)
  • Committed, team player with a keen eye for quality.
  • 100% accuracy of picking orders
  • Reliable with good timekeeping.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
