Xpert Resourcing are delighted to be working with a growing manufacturing and engineering business based close to Scunthorpe who are looking to recruit this busy role carrying out critical repair works and liaising with customers.
A company vehicle is provided for work travel.
Duties will include:
- Carrying out fault finding and inspections on client vehicles.
- Technical repairs to key components.
- Working on large machinery.
- Attending customer sites to support with warranty issues or repairs.
- Allocating manpower for specific jobs and deadlines.
- Costing of jobs for repair work.
- Providing customer quotations for work to be carried out.
- Repairing and replacing pneumatic and hydraulic components.
- Responsibility for Health & Safety of the team.
- Carry out quality control inspections in order to prevent future warranty disputes or claims.
- Managing a small team of technicians.
Experience / skills required:
- A good understanding of mechanical / hydraulic systems.
- Experience of managing staff.
- MIG and TIG welding skills.
- Experience of working with aluminium will be an advantage.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday
- 40 Hours per week
