About Us:
My Client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experienced Fabricator/ Welder to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with expertise in manual milling, turning, and MIG & Stick welding, particularly with stainless steel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual milling and turning to produce high-precision parts such as bushes, drive shafts, and other custom components.
  • Carry out MIG and Stick welding processes, particularly working with stainless steel.
  • Fabricate, cut, and assemble metal parts and structures in line with project specifications.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout all tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during fabrication.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment, machines, and work areas.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Requirements:

  • Ideally you will be a time served engineer
  • Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder with a focus on MIG and Stick welding.
  • Proficiency in manual milling and turning, particularly for fabricating parts like bushes and drive shafts.
  • Solid experience working with stainless steel and other metal materials.
  • In-depth knowledge of fabrication tools, machines, and equipment.
  • Ability to produce high-quality, precision parts with attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
