HRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced and dedicated Payroll Manager to join a busy practice based in Seaford. The business offers a range of accountancy and taxation services to clients across various industries.

The successful candidate will help with all aspects of payroll processing for clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and time efficiency.

General Duties:

  • Deal with CIS returns, requesting invoices and UTR's and all HMRC enquiries
  • Process new starters/leavers
  • Calculate any overtime pay required
  • Handle maternity/paternity/sickness pay
  • Handle queries in payment issues and ensure corrections are done in compliance with legislation
  • Submit accurate monthly pay records to accountants each month including any changes to salary, deductions, commission etc.
  • Handle other accounts duties as and when required
  • Collect new employee details (P45/new starter form), adding them to payroll and advising them of payment times and how to log in to download their payslips/P60s etc

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience working in a payroll function
  • Good administration, planning, organising and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to deal with multiple client queries, over the phone or face to face
  • Experience of using Payroll Manager and Accountancy programme Xero preferred
  • Up-to-date knowledge of PAYE rules/Auto-enrolment pension schemes and dealing with the pension regulator
