Key Responsibilities:
As a Street Light Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing project teams in the delivery of street lighting installation and maintenance projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans for street lighting projects, including timelines, resource allocations, and budget management.
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies specific to street lighting and associated works, including road closures and traffic management.
- Administering contracts effectively, managing variations, and addressing claims to optimize project outcomes.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, including local authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Monitoring and reporting on project progress, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly in relation to street works and lighting installation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management, specifically with street lighting projects.
- Strong knowledge of street lighting systems, installation processes, and relevant street works regulations.
- Demonstrable experience in managing projects from inception through to completion, with the ability to deliver within deadlines and budgets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- A full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
