I'm recruiting for a European Operations Supervisor to join a global freight forwarder.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the operation through planning direction and control of all operational activities on a day tp day basis.
  • Manage import and exports shipping process
  • Handling European services
  • Developing the team
  • Preparing performance progress reports for senior management
  • Monitoring and reviewing vat and duty exposure
  • Managing holiday/ sickness cover
  • Ensuring customers requirements are met to a high standard
  • Liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers
  • Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with regulations and legal requirements.
  • Track and monitor shipments, providing real-time updates to customers
  • Address any issues or delays promptly and implement effective solutions
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times

Skills required:

  • Previous experience within a similar role at a senior level
  • Ability to motivate a team
  • PC litearte
  • 5years+ experience International road freight
  • Good customer service skills
  • Experience with Customs paperwork

Working hours:

  • Monday - Friday 0900am - 1700pm Hybrid 2 days in office and 3 days from home
