The Graduate Buyer build strong supplier relationships, manage international sourcing, and ensure the business continues to thrive through smart, strategic buying decisions.
The responsibilities of the Graduate Buyer include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead international sourcing and supplier negotiations to drive best-value deals.
- Identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement across procurement processes.
- Travel internationally to visit suppliers, validate factory capabilities, and conduct audits.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure strong stock availability and minimise waste.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, BRCGS, and packaging tax regulations.
Skills, Experience & Key Candidate Attributes of the Graduate Buyer:
- Degree educated.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking able to balance long-term supplier partnerships with short-term business needs.
- Excellent IT Skills.
