The Role
As a Global Business Development Manager, you’ll be instrumental in identifying, developing, and maintaining strategic partnerships while supporting the management team in achieving ambitious growth goals. Your key responsibilities include:
- Develop Opportunities: Build and nurture relationships with new and existing customers to expand the company’s presence in the renewables sector.
- Strategic Engagement: Collaborate across the business to ensure all services are effectively promoted to key accounts and potential clients.
- Drive Growth: Lead the development of growth strategies, marketing campaigns, and early market penetration plans for emerging opportunities.
- CRM Oversight: Implement and manage a CRM system to streamline customer engagement and improve sales efficiency.
- Market Research: Monitor global renewable energy news, identify competitors, and explore new markets to capitalise on upcoming opportunities.
- Event Representation: Represent the company at international exhibitions, forums, and events to enhance brand exposure and identify prospects.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and relationship-building skills to this role. Key requirements include:
- Strong organisational, leadership, and time management abilities.
- Proven experience in business development, with a talent for fostering long-term partnerships.
- Professional qualifications (Post-Graduate Degree preferred).
- Hands-on project experience (desirable).
- Knowledge of fibre optic and HV termination and testing, cable laying, and rigging operations (desirable).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet KPIs, and manage multiple stakeholders.
