Job Description: Cleaning Operative - Deep Cleaner
Location: Seaham, County Durham
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Operative to provide high-quality deep cleaning services at a care home. This role is vital in ensuring the care home remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for its residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform deep cleaning tasks throughout the care home, including all rooms, bathrooms, WCs, offices, and canteens.
- Clean community areas such as hallways, stairs, and other shared spaces.
- Use cleaning machinery effectively to carry out deep cleaning duties.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and infection control protocols.
- General cleaning duties as required to maintain the cleanliness of the facility.
Requirements :
- Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and their appropriate usage, including safety measures.
- Experience with cleaning machinery is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday.
- Choice of two shifts: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
Start Date:
The role begins on 13/01/2025.
