Sonic Summary

Our client, a leader in steel plate processing and fabrications, is seeking a Welder to join their team.
The position offers a 4-day work week from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays.
Candidates must have proven experience as a welder and be familiar with a variety of welding equipment and procedures.
The role requires attention to detail, the ability to read technical documents, and knowledge of safety standards.
The salary for this position is competitive, and candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Our respected client, a leader in the steel plate processing and fabrications, is currently seeking a Welder to join their team.

4 day week! 7am-5pm Monday to Thursday with overtime available on a Friday

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements for planning layout and procedures

- Preparing and operating welding equipment

- Maintaining equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

- Inspecting welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws

- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a welder

- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures

- Experience in using electrical or manual tools

- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

- Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)

- Deftness and attention to detail
