Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading energy provider to recruit an Operations Technician to work on a COMAH site in Seascale on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Shift Manager you will:
- Work as part of the operations team.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of the CHP plant.
- Perform frontline mechanical and electrical maintenance as necessary.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Experience working in a similar heavy process industry including power, chemical, refineries, etc.
- Applications from ex-defence candidates welcome.
- A relevant engineering qualification is desired.
Personal skills
The Operations Technician role would suit someone who:
- Is able to work a rotating shift pattern.
- Lives in the Seascale area for the duration of the FTC.
- Works well in a team environment and also independent.
- Prioritises high levels of health and safety.
