One of the leading companies in the nuclear sector is looking to bring in an EC&I experienced technician to join the growing team working on vast projects in the nuclear space. This is one of the best and well known projects and companies in the sector.
Job Role - Electrical and Instrumentation technician
Location - Sellafield
Salary - up to £45,000 + Overtime and benefits
 
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with electrical repairs experience or electrical instrumental experience. If you are a qualified Electrician, this could be a great transition for you also. Working on a Nuclear site, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment used to identify any radiation on workers or equipment.
 
Standard hours are 37 per week but with an additional half an hour a day you can add 13 days holiday to the already great holiday package! Company vehicles are provided to get to and from work with no tax implementations. A higher than average pension scheme is offered as are cost saving benefits.
 
Day to Day Duties:
Working on site or in the workshop, ensuring Electrical equipment is maintained and repaired
Maintain instructions and record information accurately
Ensure you are sticking to procedures, rules and guidelines to ensure compliance is followed through the tasks agreed upon
Ensure you follow client requirements and regulations
Provide technical advice and update work pack progress reports
Required experiences:
Apprenticeship or equivalent training in relevant discipline (e.g. Electronic, Electrical, Instrumentation, Technology fields) 
Knowledge and understanding of conventional and nuclear safety 
Proven experience of servicing electronic instrument systems
