We have excellent immediate opportunities for MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIANS to be based on the Sellafield Site in West Cumbria.

Nuclear experience would be advantageous, but not essential.

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be performing routine maintenance on a wide range of Electrical and Instrumentation plant systems. You will also carry out project work, breakdown repairs and safe isolations.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATES

Essential Criteria for Maintenance Electrician:

Time served Electrician or Instrument Mechanic holding recognised apprenticeship (e.g. NVQ level 3 Electrical Instrumentation or equivalent).

Able to understand single-line electrical drawings, instructions and manuals.

Proficient in English and Maths.

Self-motivated, driven and resilient.

Able to make correct and informed decisions under pressure.

Evidence of self-motivation with demonstrable levels of drive, energy and resilience.

Required to become Appointed as a Nominated Person Electrical.

Desirable Criteria for Maintenance Electrician:

Demonstrate knowledge of the Operation & Maintenance requirements associated with their area.

Knowledge of maintenance programmes and company standards/industry best practice.

SECURITY CLEARANCE

Security Clearance is essential for these roles. Candidates must be eligible for Security clearance, if not already held. We invite applications from Candidates who hold British Citizenship and who haven't worked outside the UK for the past 5 years.
