Key roles and responsibilities:
- Oversee daily mechanical activities, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality standards are met.
- Promote health, safety, environmental, quality, and sustainability (HSEQS) initiatives and ensure compliance with Sellafieldās safety standards.
- Manage the project risk register, scope, documentation, and site files.
- Review subcontractor documents to ensure materials and designs meet specifications.
- Allocate resources to meet cost and schedule requirements, coordinating with delivery teams and subcontractors.
- Produce as-built records and ensure adherence to project procedures and work instructions.
- Attend project meetings, liaise with construction management, and support HR in team management.
Skills and experience required:
- Senior management experience on large-scale construction projects, ideally in a joint venture setting.
- Preferably experienced with nuclear-licensed sites.
- Skilled in team management, resource coordination, and project compliance.
- Strong background in safety practices and quality assurance within regulated environments.
- Proficient in project management software and documentation.
- Effective communicator with cross-functional teams and departments.
