Mechanical Plant & Equipment Manager Nuclear

Security Clearance -The ability to obtain BPSS is essential for this role.

Responsible for the effective and consistent management of the mechanical support to commissioning and handover of the facility in accordance with design and site procedures.

Promoting site HSEQS initiatives

Responsible for HS&E in line with RACI Matrix

Management of day to day Mechanical discipline (Productivity, Quality and Delivery)

Review of risk register

Coordination and monitoring of scope

Coordination of the site files

Managing production of AS Built records

Obtain design information from Delivery Team and Sub-contractors

Assessing material samples for compliance with the specification

Reviewing sub-contractor and supplier documentation designated approval for contractors submissions

Ensure Project procedures & Work Instructions are adhered to.

Responsible for resource management required to meet programme and cost plan.

Attending meetings as required

Liaise with Delivery Teams and Construction Management

Support HR and IR issues

Essential Experience & Qualifications

Experienced in senior construction management roles, working as part of a joint venture integrated team on large-scale projects covering all disciplines.

Experience of working on a Nuclear licensed site would be preferred.
