Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a talented and motivated Shift Manager to work for our client at their Heat & Power Plant (FCHP) in Cumbria. This is an incredible opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that are shaping the future of the energy sector.

The Opportunity: The Shift Manager is responsible for contributing to the development, leadership, and delivery of the CHP (FCHP) Operations philosophy, including the operational strategy and overall performance measures. The Shift Manager takes overall responsibility for the supervision, development, welfare, and overall effectiveness of all assigned personnel.

You'll be supported with personalized on-the-job training, coaching, mentoring, and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain and develop your contributions and competence.

Minimum Requirements:

  • ONC/NVQ level 3 / PPO 1,2 & 3 or equivalent in engineering, maintenance, or process disciplines or working towards a relevant qualification.
  • Relevant experience of working in and contributing to a continuous process/production environment.
  • Boiler, DCS, or similar knowledge and experience.
  • Power generation operational knowledge and work experience.
  • Experience of working on and contributing to a COMAH regulated site.
