Our client is a friendly and busy independent firm of Estate and Letting Agents, and they are looking for an experienced lettings & property management person to join their thriving firm in a beautiful coastal location with a salary in the region of £27-30,000 depending on experience. This role has great hours and no weekend working!Well known for their friendly and welcoming approach to business, they are now looking for a great all round lettings and property management person with a keen and accurate eye for detail to join them in their Seaton office.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Register new prospective tenants and book appointments
  • To conduct viewings of current and proposed properties including direct interaction with tenants and landlords
  • Conducting property rental valuations
  • Conducting administrative tasks involved in the running of the letting business, which briefly include tenant referencing, production of draft tenancy agreements, checking legally required documentation and related contractual paperwork
  • Take calls about and organise repairs and maintenance
  • Tenancy renewals ·General property management
  • Using IT systems to ensure data is captured and used in a manner to ensure excellent recording and productivity with the office
  • General lettings accounts such as paying landlords and contractors and sending out invoices.

The ideal candidate:

  • Well-presented and excellent communication and written, verbal and numerical skills
  • Minimum of 1 year’s lettings and property management experience
  • Organised with a good attention to detail ·Excellent knowledge of the current lettings and property management legislation
  • Honest and trustworthy
  • Dedicated to delivering first class customer service
  • Willingness to go the extra mile
  • Be a friendly and approachable team member

The Company can offer a welcoming environment and training in any gaps in knowledge for the right individual. They also offer a very competitive basic salary plus mileage allowance. Competitive salary of £27-29,000 depending on experience. Monday to Friday 9-5pm and no weekends.
