Position: Engineering Manager
Salary: up to 80,000 + Benefits
Office Location: Durham Area + Hybrid Work from Home
The Role: Our client is now looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team towards the design and development of a range of electronic devices in the Durham area. Their ideal Engineering Manager candidate will have a design background (Electronics, embedded software or mechanical), team leader or management experience and be keen to take on a challenging, technical lead role.
Skills and Experience Required:
- A hands-on design background - electronics, embedded software or mechanical
- Strong technical leadership experience
- In-depth experience of the full design lifecycle
- Experience building and managing multidiscipline teams
The successful Engineering Manager will be tasked with developing design strategy whilst providing guidance, leadership, technical management and the successful delivery of a range of projects. In a key leadership role the successful Engineering Manager will play a pivotal role and have the chance to make a real impact in the future direction of the engineering function and can expect to work closely with other heads of departments and the leadership team.
Desirable Experience:
- Knowledge of an ISO13485
- Medical device
