CDM Life Sciences are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead our Medical Devices Electronics Team. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee a significant and growing project portfolio across multiple sectors in electronics, providing innovative solutions to complex technical problems.

Role Overview:

As Manager, you will provide high-level technical leadership and expertise, ensuring the technical delivery of projects. You will play a crucial role in offering innovative solutions at the technology area level, contributing extensively to development and improvement activities, and addressing the future needs of the team to achieve strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design reviews for electronics and system designs, supporting innovative product development in the HealthTech and MedTech market spaces.
  • Act as a line manager for all direct reports, conducting performance appraisals and implementing personal development plans for the team.
  • Serve as the technical lead and/or project manager for relevant projects in the portfolio.
  • Provide specific technical support to the Business Development Team relating to proposal/project development and direct customer engagement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Educated to at least a degree level in a Scientific/Engineering discipline or possess significant industrial experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and introduction of new products is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in software and firmware development.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 15288, ISO 60601, and ISO 13485.
