Tourism, Events and Retail Supervisor

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of MDCV UKVineyards and Winery'sgrowth and journey to a sparkling future .This is a part time position with optional days - between Friday to Sunday or Thursday to Sunday.

This role is responsible for the teams who run the winery/vineyard tours, manage the shop and the caf.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting the Manager with arranging vineyard and winery tours as well as ensuring the smooth running of the shop and caf.
• Supervising the teams and ensuring staff rotas are sufficient to meet the demands of the business.
• Assisting with events ensuring there are adequate staff levels.
• Good retail skills and able to assist guests select their wine.

Essential requirements

• An interest or knowledge of Wine.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm in a fast paced environment.
• To establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and departments.
• Hospitality/Retail experience including meduim to large scale events.

Desirable but not essential :

• WSET 2 or above. - Training would be provided
• First aid trained
• Food and hygiene level
