Sewell Wallis are partnering with a leading business in Selby who are looking to recruit a Financial Accountant into their UK Head Office team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant to join an organisation who are going through a significant growth period who offer ongoing progression opportunities.

What will you be doing?

  • Producing group statutory accounts.
  • Supporting the preparation of the monthly board pack.
  • Reviewing the balance sheet.
  • Assisting with group consolidations.
  • Financial modelling.
  • Working closely with the external auditors.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Supporting the business M&A growth plans.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and accounting standards.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Qualified Accountant / newly qualified, ideally ACCA / ACA / CIMA.
  • Strong financial reporting skills.
  • Ability to work with senior stakeholders across the group.
  • Knowledge of IFRS.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
